Demolition Time!

Behind the plaster we found a fire place and exposed the brick, tucked inside the brick were old news paper clippings and advertisments

This home was built to last, 112 years old! Under the base boards were all kinds of happy bugs that aren’t to happy anymore, it’s things like replacing the base boards and carpet you can’t just hire out because it ends up covered up instead of being done right with passion and pride.
I hired a annual pest control company and I will be utilizing them again next year too, It’s defiantly worth every cent and they come at my beckon call. We had wasp, bee’s, spiders, BIRDS?! And maybe mice (I didn’t see any but I would freak out if I did)

Before Pictures

Here are some pictures of the house before we moved in.

It took about a month of work to get the place livable. I had many people voice their concerns about the load of work we were taking on but I’m confident that with husbands extreme talent and passion for building and my vision we make the perfect team to unveil the beauty of this historic home. It has been so fun to watch the house come slowly back to life.
